Meat & Livestock Australia and Pinion Advisory are running Livestock Advisor Essentials, a professional development program designed for early career professionals working in the livestock industry, or advisors wishing to build their skills and expand their industry knowledge and networks.

Livestock Advisor Essentials is a professional development program designed for early career professionals working in the northern Australian livestock industry. This is an unbeatable opportunity to:

• gain practical skills, tools and knowledge that you can apply to your role to enhance your offering to clients
• build confidence and capability to provide holistic, high quality advice and support to your red meat clients
• explore new communication approaches to effectively engage with clients and promote your services to potential clients

The Genetics and reproduction workshop will be delivered by Whitney Dollemore, Northern BreedAssist & Matthew Boon, Prime Livestock Veterinary Services. By attending this workshop, participants will:

• Increase knowledge of key reproduction and genetics principles in northern systems and how they relate to driving profit on-farm.
• Grow confidence to support clients to make important decisions about breeding objectives, sire selection, reproduction cycle management and joining practices.
