Managing weeds and maintaining healthy pastures — Tamrookum

Landholders are invited to attend a free weeds and pastures workshop at Tamrookum to learn about practical measures to manage pasture weeds, particularly Giant rats tail grass & Fireweed and improve pasture and land condition on their properties.

Healthy Land & Water pasture and weed specialists, Bruce Lord and Dennis Gannaway will lead discussions on:

• managing invasive weedy sporobolus grasses – Giant rats tail grass & Giant Parramatta grass
• preventing weed spread and maintaining effective Biosecurity Plans & measures on your property
• recommended best management practices for managing Fireweed
• managing and maintaining healthy diverse pastures and good land condition to maximise grazing production and improve resilience.
