NQ Dry Tropics Maps and Apps Workshop- Charters Towers

Don’t put off booking a seat at one of the NQ Dry Tropics Maps and Apps workshop coming up in Charters Towers.

Presented by NQ Dry Tropics grazing extension staff — Josh Nicholls, Brad Martin and Angus Hogg — the workshops invest landholders with a comprehensive range of skills to make the most of Queensland Globe and Avenza app.

By using the two programs in conjunction with the other, the NQ Dry Tropics team can make life a lot simpler for landholders wanting to map, plan, or even learn using overlays and free data including historical imaging, land types, topography, even historical grazing use. Use Avenza in the field to accurately mark locations, and Qld Globe in the office to use that data to plan infrastructure and development.

While bookings are open until 18 August, places are limited, so get in early to be sure of a spot.
