Nutrition EDGE is a three-day workshop and practical session covering all aspects of animal nutrition, including how nutrition affects growth and fertility rates, financial returns and markets. The workshop will be delivered by Désirée Jackson.
Participants will be able to make better decisions to achieve herd performance targets through improved breeder fertility, weight gains, reduced mortality, optimal use of supplements.
Attending this workshop will help you to:
- understand the nutritional requirements of your cattle and sheep
- estimate the feed value of pasture and animal production
- know what supplements to feed
- understand a feed label
- save money on supplementary and drought feeding
- make better management decisions for a range of seasonal conditions.
Prices (inclusive of GST):
$1,595* / first person from a business
$1,265* / second person from a business
*Normal price is $1,925 / first person, $1,595 / second person.
Subsidies for eligible producers only, are provided by:
- Grazing Futures project $200/person
- SWNRM (venue and catering) $100/person
