The NRM Spatial Hub uses satellite data to give rangeland graziers the capability to map, plan, analyse and monitor their property’s infrastucture, land resources and ground cover to make better decisions.
The world-first technology underpinning the NRM Spatial Hub is being used by graziers across northern Australia to improve the profitable and sustainable management of Australia’s rangelands. More information about the program and grazier case studies can be found here.
The training in Birdsville will comprise an introduction and extensive demonstrations with user participation of the NRM Spatial Hub. During the afternoon session, those that are registered with the NRM Spatial Hub will have some time to work on spatial mapping their own properties.
To make the most of this workshop, RSVP by 16 September so you can register with NRM Spatial Hub.
At the end of the day, you will have the skills required to map your property and key infrastructure, plus the skills to effectively use the ground cover analysis and comparison tools, and a good understanding of how using spatial mapping can be used for planning and budgeting.
Places are limited. If you’d like more information or you’d like to register for this FREE event, please send an email through to Kim Stalley.
This NRM Spatial Hub training is made possible with the support of Pastoral Profit.
