Managing local pests

What’s it all about?

John Chamberlain brings with him a wealth of knowledge in managing Parthenium in Central Queensland. Join SEQ Catchments to share his experience in managing and preventing the spread of this weed.

Phil Sutherland (Department of Agriculture and Fisheries) has extensive experience in managing pests in the rural and suburban fringe areas of South East Queensland and will provide insights into vertebrate pest control including setting lures and traps for a range of predatory pests.

Cost: Free

What to bring: There will be a paddock inspection so please wear appropriate footwear, clothing and a hat and bring a water bottle.
