Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Damien Ferguson- AgForce Projects, Phil Sutherland – Biosecurity Qld, Will Dobbie – Darling Downs-Moreton Rabbit Board, Matt Gentle – DAF Invasive Plants and Animals Research, the Junction View Pest Management Group and professional trappers will provide information, advice and practical demonstrations on the following:
- Practical feral animal trapping and baiting demonstrations
- Where to place traps and baits for feral animals
- How to find feral animal signs and how to set traps
- Coordination of baiting, trapping and shooting for better outcomes
- Working together as a group for maximum effect
There are lucky door prizes to be won, including trapping equipment and control tools to the value of $1000.
The Lockyer Valley Regional Council will be on hand to help coordinate your programs.
Displays from the Lockyer Valley Regional Council, SEQ Catchments, Elders, Biosecurity QLD, Get Trapped, T and C Wild Dog and Feral Pest Control, Western trapping and others.
