Interested in learning the skills to control wild dogs, pigs and foxes?
Don’t miss out on vital information about how you can get involved in a community strategy for controlling these feral pests in your region.
Workshop presenters and topics include:
- Clynton Spencer, Senior Wild Dog Officer Biosecurity, outlining best practice poison information relating to control/planning calendars, as well as a trapping demonstration
- Philip Sutherland, Wild Dog Officer Biosecurity Queensland
- Damien Ferguson, AgForce Projects Pest Animal Management Coordinator, providing an overview of feral pig control
- Ted Parish, AgForce Projects Industry Recovery Officer, providing specialist support and recovery advice to help landholders impacted by flooding earlier this year to bring their businesses and properties back on track.
The trapping demonstration will include an overview on how to find wild dog signs, where and how to set dog traps, plus all attendees will receive a free dog trap. To receive a trap attendees must register prior to the workshop and attend for the whole day.
