Preg testing training cattle

This unit covers pregnancy testing animals and defines the standard required to: draft animals and source information on joining to assist in pregnancy testing; restrain each animal for pregnancy testing using humane methods and facilities; detect pregnancy through several manually determined key indicators; maintain records of pregnancy testing; monitor animals after pregnancy testing. Assessment will consist of written and practical assessments. On successful competition of this course participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for AHCLSK408A Pregnancy test animals.

Course fees: $1102 per person (meals and dorm-style accommodation available $62/day)

What to bring: Suitable outdoor work wear; hat, long sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed leather shoes, linen, pillow or swag; towel, water bottle.
