WHAT & WHO Join us for the innovative Rain Gauge: Forecasting for a Profitable Future course, developed by the Northern Australia Climate Program (NACP) and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).

Red meat producers from southern Queensland are invited to participate in the pilot offering of Module 2 of PGS: Rain Gauge. In return producers will provide feedback on the content and practical relevance of this course.

KEY LEARNINGS:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of climate drivers like ENSO and IOD and their effects on weather patterns.
  • Learn to set and use key decision dates effectively.
  • Discover how seasonal conditions affect livestock mortality.
  • Develop strategies to manage grazing pressure during challenging seasons.
