Sheep made easy Bollon

Would you like your sheep work to be less stressful and get the job done quicker? If so, then these days are for you!

9am Wednesday 15 June ‘Acme Downs’, Bollon – Register now

Both days will run from 9am to 3pm and are free to attend.  Lunch available for purchase at Augathella and BYO lunch at Bollon.

What will you see and hear about at these free on-farm days:

• Producers currently using sheep handling equipment will talk about how they use the equipment, why they bought it and benefits and costs
• See for yourself first-hand how the equipment works and how it can make sheep handling/drafting easier
• Find out how to make the most of this equipment and integrate it into your business
• Geoff Duddy from Sheep Solutions will also cover:
  • modern livestock facilities such as functional yards, sheep handlers and equipment
  • proactive grazing management to minimise the need for supplementary feeding and meet the breeding ewe and lamb requirements
  • improved genetics and the development of ‘easy-care’ sheep.

This will be a great opportunity to see the equipment in action and ask questions of producers who are currently using it and get some tips for making running sheep easier.

Catering:  Smoko, tea, coffee etc will be provided. Lunch at ‘Buckey’s Creek’, Augathella will be available to purchase on the day. While lunch at ‘Acme Downs’, Bollon is BYO.
