The Farm Business Resilience Program invites you along from mid-morning in the paddock with two soil pits to view, results will be discussed and regional soil formation explained by Andrew Biggs, Senior Land Resource Officer from the Department of Land Resource Assessment and Science along with DPI staff.

The aim of the day is to discuss the importance of soil structure, identify soil constraints, and management options for growing crops and cover.

The day will start with a morning tea at 10am and include a lunch. Please RSVP for catering purposes.

Please note: There are 2 days – one event is between Yelarbon and Inglewood over the Macintyre Brook on Wednesday 8 July, the following day a second set of soil pits are between Texas and Bonshaw on the QLD side of the river on Thursday 9 July. You are welcome to go to both or pick the day that best suits you. Please register separately for the specific day(s).
