Australasia-Pacific Extension Network invites you to Understanding farmer decision making with behaviour economics webinar.
Decisions made by farm-households are central to the uptake of farming systems innovations. The purpose of this webinar is to discuss the outline potential approaches for integrating behavioural science insights with traditional extension theory and practice to enhance the design and testing of interventions that promote farming system technologies.
Guest presenter, Dr Roy Murray-Prior, has a background in the practice and theory of agricultural extension, economics and science and is currently involved in an ACIAR project in the East Ganges Delta that is testing behavioural economics designs to improve adoption outcomes of conservation agricultural technologies by smallholder farmers.
