Vegetation Management Workshop and Bus Tour
Interested in the latest on vegetation management, the best strategies for dealing with weeds, and how to stay compliant under the reef regulations?
Join NQ Dry tropics and Queensland Government representatives at a two day workshop where you will be able to ask questions and learn how you can achieve what you need on your properties with the least amount of difficulty.
Day One
10:00am – 4:00pm
Indoor session at the Golf Club.
The need-to-knows of managing your property in accordance with current regulations, and what exemptions and supports are available to you.
Provide your lot and plan during registration to receive a digital copy of your PMAV (property map of accessible vegetation) and land type map on the day!
Day Two
7:00am – 3:00pm
Bus trip to see vegetation work underway at various sites on Dreghorn Station and discuss management options in the field.
Catering provided both days. Accommodation is available in Charters Towers.
