P is for profit and for phosphorus – and that’s not all the 2 have in common!

Phosphorus (P) deficiency can have a major impact on animal health, fertility and performance, frequently resulting in lost profit on beef enterprises in northern Australia.

In this presentation, join Mick Sullivan (Principal Beef Extension Officer – Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries) and Tim Schatz (Principal Livestock Research Officer – NT Department of Primary Industries and Resources) when they take an in-depth look at how you can determine if phosphorus is an issue for your business and what can be done about it.

Within the webinar, Mick will discuss the following topics:
• why cattle need P
• identifying a P deficiency
• correcting the deficiency

Followed by Tim, when he discusses:
• What we learnt from the Kidman Springs P study
• Future P research relating to the practical and economic feeding of it

This webinar will include a Q&A session where you can ask your questions.
