Woody weed eradication training — Proserpine

Join Dr Vic Galea from the University of Queensland – one of Australia’s leading experts on woody weed control for a hands-on training session you won’t want to miss.

With over 20 years of research, Dr Galea has developed innovative biological (fungi-based) and chemical techniques to effectively control woody weeds such as:

• rubbervine
• parkinsonia
• prickly acacia
• Mimosa pigra
• chinee apple
• cat’s claw creeper
• leucaena.

These methods improve safety by reducing chemical handling and environmental risk.

Sessions will be between 2 to 3 hours long, including a presentation of 45 minutes and a 1-2 hour practical session.
