The Beef industry on-station quality workforce handbook suggests standard job titles, position descriptions, skill requirements, salary models and career pathways for people working on beef cattle stations in Queensland.
The handbook provides a consistent foundation that can be customised if necessary to suit the needs of individual beef producers of all sizes.
It has been created to help address staff challenges facing beef producers, in particular, a shortage of workers and difficulty accessing government support for on-station employment.
