Blogs are an effective way to engage with your target audience, informing them of updates and allowing them to make comments. They do require a significant amount of time if you want to achieve good engagement with your audience.

Would you like to create a blog like this CSIRO one for your project or event?

It is hosted for free on the WordPress site. The default option is for URL to end with ‘wordpress.com’. For a more professional look, you can pay a small amount for WordPress to map a subdomain of our FutureBeef website. So if you are running a Smart beef project, your blog address could be ‘www.smartbeef.futurebeef.com.au’.

It is relatively easy to create a custom header too, like the CSIRO one.

You may find this video useful, aptly titled How to Build a High-Traffic Blog Without Killing Yourself.
