Farm Biosecurity
The Farm Biosecurity program is an important part of Australia’s emergency animal disease and exotic plant pest surveillance systems. Surveillance allows us to preserve existing trade opportunities and provides evidence of Australia’s pest and animal disease status. If you spot anything unusual, call the Plant Pest Hotline 1800 084 881 or the Emergency Animal Disease Watch Hotline 1800 675 888.
The Farm Biosecurity website has several helpful factsheets to assist you to take into account all potential biosecurity risk entry points and how to minimise your risk. There’s also an option to help you create your own biosecurity toolkit, including signs, declarations, templates, manuals and more.
