Tropical Beef Technology Services

Tropical Beef Technology Services (TBTS) was a joint initiative between Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), the Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI), Queensland Department of Primary Industries (QDPI) and tropical breed associations representing tropical cattle breeds that are predominately run in Northern Australia.

TBTS has played an important role in extending a range of messages relating to beef genetics and selection to the northern beef industry.

TBTS officially concluded in mid 2021 and has since been continued by ABRI through their Extension Services which provides technical support to ABRI clients and/or members.
