I grew up on the family sheep and beef property between Charleville and Adavale in South-Western Queensland, and I now live in Charleville with my wife and two young boys. A combination of wife, two boys and property life take up all my spare time.

At the University of Queensland (Gatton) I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Animal Production/Rangeland Management). While at university, I gained access to methods of higher learning and increased my expertise in various industries and commercial enterprises. After completing my degree, I continued to work in the beef, sheep and goat industries throughout the supply line. In combination with these traditional industries, I’ve also worked in the carbon industry and have experience and knowledge of the complicated dynamics between the environment, production and community.
