Having worked in East Africa for over a decade researching large carnivores and herbivores, Kirsten settled in Alice Springs three years ago. Since arriving in Central Australia she has worked in a variety of ecological roles, including conducting research on feral fox and wild dog management in the Arid Zone. Kirsten is working with the Livestock Industries Development team as a Technical Officer collecting and managing livestock and rangeland research data. With an interest in sustainable resource utilisation she is excited to be involved with the research into sustainable stocking rates being conducted at Old Man Plains Research Station.
