Robyn grew up in a sheep and cattle station in south west Queensland and has worked in grazing research for more than 20 years. She did her PhD research in the Queensland mulga lands before she moved to the Northern Territory. Her research areas are all about using native pastures in rangelands. They include carrying capacity, grazing trials looking at safe utilisation rates and different grazing systems, the use of fire in grazing lands to maintain productivity, and scenario modelling of the longer term outcomes of different grazing systems, infrastructure development, climate variability and change.
