State of the Industry 2017

Last month, the Red Meat Advisory Council Ltd, in partnership with members and support from Meat & Livestock Australia released the inaugural State of the Industry: The Australian Red Meat & Livestock Industry report. The report highlights our industry’s strong economic and cultural value to Australian consumers including:

• employment of 405, 000 Australian directly and indirectly
• leading exporter of beef and goat meat and the third largest exporter worldwide
• contribute 18 billion to the GDP.
