Join the Spyglass Research Station Field Day to see gully remediation work in action. Learn about different erosion control approaches being investigated through the gully remediation research project.

Alluvial gully erosion is a major source of sediment entering waterways that flow to the Great Barrier Reef. The Spyglass Research Station project is investigating practical approaches to managing gully erosion to help reduce sediment loss while supporting improved pasture and land condition.

The field day provides an opportunity to see the project firsthand and learn more about the research being undertaken at Spyglass Research Station.

Ideal for producers, extension officers, natural resource management staff and anyone interested in erosion control, land condition and protecting water quality.
