Selling and transport regulations for cattle in northern Australia
There are five main requirements for cattle movement or sale within and between states and territories regarding:
- Livestock brands, earmarks and property identification codes
- Waybills and National Vendor Declaration Waybills
- National Livestock Identification System
- Movement requirements into a particular state or territory
- Movement requirements relating to cattle ticks and cattle tick zones.
