You are warmly invited to attend one of the upcoming practical field days being held as part of the Thriving Through Change: Manage Livestock Thermal Stress Before It Costs You! learning series.

The learning series is the first initiative of its kind to focus on managing livestock thermal stress across northern Australia’s grazing industry.

This series is a collaboration between the University of Southern Queensland’s Northern Australia Climate Program (NACP), the University of Queensland (UQ Gatton), and the Southern Queensland and Northern NSW (SQNNSW) Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub.

It brings together producers, extension officers, research teams, and supply chain representatives to explore the impacts of thermal stress on livestock productivity and welfare, and to identify key learning and research gaps across the value chain, from paddock to processor.

Field day dates and location:
Thursday 21 August 2025 – ‘Athlone’, Meandarra | 9:30am–3:00pm | hosted by Condabri Beef
