NQ Dry Topics and Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries invites you to Weather, Wambiana trial results & pasture dieback at Weetalaba Campdraft Facility on Thursday, 5 August.
Hear from Dr Chelsea Jarvis and Nikki Pilcher, University of Southern Queensland, as they discuss how to correctly read and interpret forecasts, provide local historical climate and rainfall data, identify and manage risks and demonstrate how to use freely available tools and apps.
Peter O’Reagain, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries will share results from 24 of grazing trials including grazing strategies, weight gains and profitability.
Last in the line-up of expert presenters will be Stuart Buck and Nick Brazier as they discuss pasture dieback, including how to identify and manage it, while sharing the latest updates from current research.
