The Long Paddock website: what’s new and it’s all free!
This is the first in a series of four webinars focusing on Getting the “Inside Edge” in grazing land management.
The Queensland Government’s Long Paddock website has been recently re-developed to provide graziers with free and easy access to seasonal climate and pasture growth information along with a suite of decision support tools. Everything has been designed for those involved in Queensland (and Australian) agriculture and rangelands to support decision making in grazing land management including graziers, extension practitioners, consultants, researchers and education providers.
In this webinar, Grant Stone (Principal Scientist with the Queensland Department of Environment and Science) discusses and provides an overview of the re-developed website including:
- what’s changed;
- what’s new;
- what tools are in the toolbox and how they can be used; and
- what’s on the way for the popular Long Paddock website.
