The aim of the Lead with Certainty course is to set our leaders up for success.

“Over the years of being in the industry I have noticed that we are promoting younger people into our leadership roles that have the skills to do the job at hand however they have very little knowledge on how to lead a team and more importantly how to lead themselves. I believe that if we can set our leaders up for success by giving them the tools to communicate effectively and have more awareness of self and others, we can improve staff retention rates as well as prevent early burn out in the pastoral industry.”

 What is involved

 Lead with Certainty is a 2-day workshop and a 3 monthly accountability zoom sessions supported by MLA’s Profitable Grazing Systems. The workshop will be made up of 6-12 participants

The program is designed for the participants to develop key leadership skills including effective communication and efficient planning which improves certainty, self-esteem, confidence and performance within individuals and teams.

Day 1 – Discover yourself as a leader.

• Full leadership DISC profile report which will give you better understanding into the way you and others communicate and behave.
• Diving into values, strengths and what is important to you as a leader.
• Equipping you with tools on how to manage stress and emotions.

Day 2 – Building productive teams

• Creating a positive team culture
• Effective planning
• Delivering effective feedback

3 Zoom sessions – leadership journey
