Virbac Australia invites you to a special breakfast event, Strategic parasite management seminar, where attendees will hear from local vet and beef producer, Dr Neil Farmer and Virbac Technical Services Manager, Dr Matt Ball at a catered event near you. Dr Neil Farmer and Dr Matt Ball will be attending a roadshow through QLD highlighting sustainable tick and worm management and strategic drenching practices. Neil & Matt will present:

  • The tick life cycle and local findings.
  • Strategic use of drenching products for worming
    and tick control and their benefits.

Breakfast will be offered at 7:30 AM, followed by the information seminar from 8.00-10.00 AM on Tuesday, 6 August.

About the presenters

Dr Neil Farmer

Neil is a local Rockhampton district vet & beef producer. After doing full time & locum work in practices around Queensland for several years, he has established his own practice, operating out of his family’s property, “Lake Learmonth”.

Neil is passionate about beef cattle production & veterinary medicine. He is well versed in reproductive management & performance as well as managing a beef cattle enterprise productively and profitability. Neil actively works with his clients to put in place management programs that improve their enterprise performance.

Dr Matt Ball

Dr Matthew Ball is a Veterinarian, Technical Services Manager – Cattle at Virbac Animal Health and owner of Beacon Veterinary.

Matt has 19 years experience helping cattle farmers in a range of clinical, advisory and research roles. His employment includes jobs in clinical practice,  government and industry. He has undertaken post graduate qualifications in disease surveillance, education and veterinary pharmacology. Passionate about helping cattle farmers develop practical and profitable preventative health programs. He is based on the northern rivers of NSW.
